When a business has a verified Business Profile ID, they can access many useful tools and features on Google. These include being able to add photos and videos, respond to reviews, monitor business insights and more. They can also rank higher in local search results, which leads to more customers.

The business profile id is a unique identifier for a specific Google My Business (GMB) listing. It is used to manage the listing and can be retrieved by going to the GMB Settings menu, clicking the three dots and selecting “Settings.”

In order to have a verified Business Profile, the business must meet certain requirements. These include having clear signage at the location, being staffed by employees during business hours and not being a rental or for-sale property. Businesses that have hybrid locations, such as an appliance store with a physical storefront and service area vehicle, can qualify for a GMB, but must follow the guidelines for this type of business to ensure that the information is accurate.

According to the GMB guidelines, only the business owner or authorized representatives should manage the Business Profile. If there is a conflict of ownership, the account may be restricted by Google. This can be due to a variety of reasons, including when a merchant uses another Google product and their Business Profile is affected. If the account is restricted, the content added from it will be rejected until the profile can be reinstated by the merchant.
