Google Business Profile is a free tool for businesses to manage their online presence on Google Search and Maps. It is designed to help customers find a company’s information easily and quickly, such as their location, hours, and contact info. The platform also allows users to post updates about their company such as new products or services, and respond to customer reviews and questions via a chat feature.
It is important for companies to claim and optimize their Business Profile accounts to improve local SEO and gain a competitive edge over competitors. According to the marketing website Moz, a Google Business Profile is one of the most important factors for ranking higher in local searches.
To ensure that your company has the best chance to rank higher in search results, it is critical to update and maintain your Google Business Account regularly. For example, if your business’s address or phone number change, make sure to update your Business Profile immediately. Additionally, a dedicated team member should be able to manage reviews and comments on your Google Business Page in order to stay current with feedback from your customers.
To switch your Google Account from a Business Account to a Personal Account, you need to log in to the business account and click the three dots icon at the top of the screen. From there, select “Settings” and then “Account settings.” On the next screen, you can change your default account by selecting the option that says “Use this account by default.” After making the change, log out of the business account and into the personal account.
